COLEAMBALLY COMMUNTY SELECTED FOR COMMUNITY BROADBAND PROGRAM

The community of Coleambally has been selected as one of 11 communities that will participate in a pilot project to establish community broadband services.

The program, recently announced by the NSW Minister for Rural Affairs, Tony Kelly, provides  $11.6 million over five years to deliver affordable high speed broadband to some of the more isolated communities in NSW.

Sharonne Moore of Moren Consulting Pty Ltd is working with Murrumbidgee Shire Council and the Coleambally community to develop a business case and options for the establishment of a broadband network and is seeking information and feedback from all people living and working in the community regarding the need and demand for broadband.

Please support the project by either completing a quick and simple online survey, which can be accessed via the following link
